Quality and Safety


National certification, provided by the Ministry of Agriculture Valle Verde forms part of the Livestock Exporting Establishment List, LEEPP (Listado de EstablecimientosExportadores de ProductosPecuarios, acronym in Spanish), for companies that produce livestock products for human consumption (meat, dairy or other processed products).

This is a requirement to obtain the Certificate to Export abroad.


Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (acronym in English) Is a systematic preventive approach to food safety from biological, chemical and physical hazards in the production process.

Valle Verde was first certified in 2010, and since then, has been audited internally and by third parties several times per year to meet and exceed all the required standards.
